So, this song is VERY different than any of the songs you have heard of mine. I just wanted to write an upbeat, fun, dancy kind of song! I am crossing my fingers that you like it!!

I tend to get butterflies on days that I go to the studio, mostly cause my producer is hot… no just kidding, I mean, he IS hot, but I also get butterflies because it’s what makes me happy. I have mentioned this before… music is truly my boyfriend at this point in my life. It kisses me goodnight, plays in my dreams and is there waiting for me in the morning… or rather my annoying alarm clock… in which case I would say is the only music I am not a fan of. HA. Anyhow, I just felt like writing today to let everyone know what is going on these days!

It's been such a fun week!! I entered my song "Saddle Up" (written by the talented Rachel James and others) in the Guitar Center "Record with Keith Urban" contest at www.ourstage.com and have managed to creep my way to #11 out of over 2000 unsigned artists!! I have had constant butterflies since I have entered!! Ahh!!!

This is long overdue, but I just wanted to update everybody on some exciting things going on! My CD has been available for download on iTunes, Amazon, Napster and more for exactly one month! So exciting! One of the biggest dreams I ever had as a kid was to someday have a CD! I always said when I make my CD, it’s gonna have a little of everything on it, Country, Pop, Rock, etc… and here it is! The most eclectic group of songs ever, lol! So I am checking off one of my many goals and dreams in life. How relieving!!!
